Frequently asked questions
Does anything shoot out of them?
No. SnapPoints are completely inert: no powder, no live primer, nothing leaves the barrel. The projectile is crimped into the case and stays there. When you press the trigger, the firing pin hits the SnapPlug insert and that's it.
Do they reset my trigger automatically?
No. Like any snap cap, SnapPoints don't fire, so they can't cycle the action or reset the trigger for you. After each press you rack the slide (or reset manually), the same as any dry-fire setup. That's how you practice your reset and manipulations. Tip: add a MagBlock so your slide doesn't lock back between reps.
Will they feed and eject from my firearm?
Yes. SnapPoints are built to factory spec, so they feed, chamber and eject like live ammunition when you rack the slide. They're fully inert, so nothing cycles on its own: you still rack and reset the trigger between reps.
Are they safe for dry fire?
Yes. The SnapPlug primer insert cushions your firing pin, so you can dry fire, rack and eject over and over without damage.
What are the rounds made from?

How many rounds are in a pack?
9mm, .380, .40 S&W, .38 Special and .357 Magnum come in 20-packs. 10mm and .45 ACP come in 15-packs. Bundle 2 or 3 packs above to save.
