Love these real brass Snap caps. I use them for training drills, like gun jams to drop and clear problems. With these being made of reall brass they don’t chip and leave filings in your gun.

What's in the primer pocket?

Each round includes a SnapPlug. A primer insert that cushions your firing pin during dry fire. These are fully inert, press-fit into the primer pocket, and built for repeated use. Older batches were shipped with empty pockets, but all current packs include SnapPlugs by default.

Do you offer other calibers besides 9mm?

Are these safe for dry fire practice?

Yes. SnapPoint snap caps are specifically designed for safe, repeated dry fire use. The SnapPlug primer protects your firing pin and mimics real ignition contact, giving you realistic cycling without damage.

What are the rounds made from?

Every SnapPoint round is made with factory-new brass, real projectiles containing lead for authentic weight, and our SnapPlug insert. They’re fully inert and contain no powder or live primers.

How many rounds are in a set?

For 9mm, you can choose between a 20-pack, 40-pack, or 60-pack depending on your training needs. All packs include SnapPlug primers and are available in blue or orange with your choice of bullet weight.

 

.45 ACP pre-sale packs include 15 rounds per set. Perfect for filling a high-capacity .45 magazine.

Will these cycle through my firearm?

Yes — SnapPoints are built to factory spec, so they’ll cycle, chamber, and eject just like live ammunition.
